We stayed Friday night as we were attending a wedding in wyresdale park. The b&b is old and creaky which has its charms. The room could really have done with a deep clean. There was dust all over the ledges and behind the table. The bathroom really needs attention. All around the shower door was thick with old dirt on the shower track. The toilet was full of limescale all under the rim and dust all along the trims. When we got to bed we noticed a musty smell. The duvet throw could do with an airing. The saving grace was the breakfast the next morning. It was really nice. We paid £109 for our stay and were left feeling a bit disappointed

Booked an over night stay here on the way to the lake district. The village is lovely and it has a shop and a place called the barn where you can get a sweet treat. The apartment we had was lovely and clean and modern. The breakfast was divine in the morning.
The staff were friendly and helpful and seemed happy.
We had a relaxing time ready for a full day at windemere. Would recommend this place and will definitely come here again.

We stayed at the priory b and b on the 8/8/2024 as we were attending a wedding locally, what a absolute delightful b and b, we were given a suite it was absolutely beautiful very clean, comfy bed bed linen so clean and fresh, pillows were amazingly comfy, tea, coffee and hot chocolate supplied as were 2 bottles of water, bathroom was really large and spacious with a lovely shower, breakfast was amazing, a choice of cereals, yoghurt fresh fruit and fresh orange followed by a full English there was other options if you didn't want a full English, tea and coffee refilled as needed, staff are 5 star nothing was to much trouble for them, thank you for a wonderful stay and would highly recommend you, if I could give more than 5 stars I would we will definitely be back. We stayed here as we had a meal with friends just up the road. Room was nice with a large well decorated bathroom. Staff were very friendly and we had a great breakfast. The shop across the road is well stocked. Just a bit of a shame the cafe/bar doesn't open a bit later into the evening but I understand there might not be the demand for it.

Book the new apartment rooms and what a lovely surprise it was. Room was open plan flag stone floor with fully equipped kitchenette. Plenty of space. ||Booked B&B so breakfast was in the main hotel. These breakfasts were superb with a good choice which were hot, good portion sizes and very well prepared. One of the best quality breakfasts we have had at any hotel. Spacious carpark. Dog friendly. ||Lovely rural area to explore which makes this hotel an ideal base for Forest of Bowland and not far from larger towns. Loved how quiet the town of Scorton was and not far from the M6/A6. ||Very friendly staff especially the lovely Rachel & Julie

Booked an overnight stay in a double room as I was attending a wedding reception just up the road. It's in a beautiful village between Lancaster and Preston. Excellent room, enormous bathroom, clean, tidy, very comfortable bed. The staff were excellent. I had to check out very early so they prepared me some sandwiches to take with me instead of the breakfast. I've no negatives, highly recommended.

Everything about The Priory was glorious (and no, I'm not comparing it to the Ritz), but it ticked every box for a recent weekend visit to the area to see family. Located in a quiet, picturesque village, the apartment we had was fantastic and had everything we needed. What made the extra difference though was the quality of service offered by every person I had contacted with, from my original tentative enquiry, through to booking and then to our stay itself the fantastic people here could not have done more, and the quality of the food/drinks we had was perfect. If I need accommodation in the area again I can at least now save myself a search and just book for here, thank you for your brilliant business !

We had Sunday dinner here and it was perfect. The staff were really good, the atmosphere warm and friendly. The menu choice was varied, the food well cooked and served.
