It is so hard to put down in words how we feel about Brookdale Kingsport. We live out of state and it is so hard to be far away from a loved one. The staff there is so warm and loving.  We looked at several Assisted Living Facilities in the Kingsport area before we decided on Brookdale Kingsport. The staff went above and beyond from the very beginning.  From helping with move-in when we couldn't be there until the following day, to always treating us all like family .  The Director of Health and Wellbeing is amazing, and we will miss her, she is an amazing advocate for the residents.  The nursing staff and support staff were all kind, welcoming and exceptional in the care they provided.  Communication is so important, especially when living so far away, we were always called if there was a change in status or a concern that needed addressing. Additionally, when we called with a question or anything at all, it was addressed promptly and professionally.  We will miss everyone there and highly recomend Brookdale Kingsport for anyone looking for an Assisted Living Facilty.

Brookdale is my choice for my loved one. Nathaniel Young gave me a tour of the facility along with administrative Ashley Campbell. They were very informative about the facility's policies and daily schedules. I saw how they treated and loved the tenants and their staff. The facility was very warm and inviting. It seemed more of a home than a senior facility. I was very impressed and charmed by them. That's why I've chosen Brookdale to be my loved ones new home. Thank you Nathaniel for a great experience.

We will soon move my stepmom to Brookdale of Kingsport, after having had an informative tour of their lovely facility. Nathaniel has been enormously helpful in securing a charming, renovated deluxe studio for her, as well as explaining and coordinating her transition from a rehab hospital. He also thoroughly explained how benefits work through Medicare after discharge from the rehab hospital, so my stepmom can continue to receive physical therapy without having to leave Brookdale. I feel very assured that as I navigate my way through this process, Nathaniel's expertise and dedication to being an available information source, my stepmom will be able to obtain the therapy and medical care she will need.
Ashley was very supportive and helpful as well, and she spent a lot of time with me during our first meeting and tour. What stood out to me is there are many on the Brookdale team who have been there for several years, demonstrating that the Brookdale community is a positive atmosphere for the residents and the caregiving and management staff.
I have felt such a peace of mind since I made the decision to work with Nathaniel and the Brookdale team for my step mom's care and well being.

Update: We moved my stepmom to her new deluxe suite at Brookdale of Kingsport this week, and I absolutely could not be happier with the process. Literally from the moment my stepmother was discharged from the rehab hospital, the care and support provided by the Brookdale team was phenomenal. They personally picked her up and surrounded her with such a welcoming, helpful, and assuring atmosphere. Nathaniel handled all of the paperwork smoothly and did so much to be sure her new apartment was perfect. Philip the maintenance director was very attentive and took care of every single thing needed, Ashley the executive director was so kind, supportive and helpful, Doug and Kayla the nurses, Jo and Wendy of the Care team, and on and on the list goes of people who approached my stepmom with such a welcoming and kind demeanor. They made her feel at home immediately. They've been bringing her meals to her room while she gets settled in and even an evening snack and chat to help her feel comfortable. I truly am in awe at the loving atmosphere provided by the Brookdale Kingsport team. I feel as though a weight has been lifted, and I know my stepmother will have a happy, healthy life in her new apartment and as much fun as she chooses to participate in. My heartfelt thanks to the Brookdale team for making what could have been a very stressful process, an extremely pleasant one.

I toured Brookdale of Kingsport with my client and family, we met with Nathaniel ( Sales Manager) and Heather ( Health & Wellness Director) my personal experience, I felt comfortable, welcome, relaxed, at "home". Nathaniel & Heather are friendly, helpful, caring, both had a great sense of humor, answered all my questions. Since the tour: The kitchen staff are very kind, the food I personally have tried is great.
The Nursing staff is wonderful, caring, helpful compassionate and hardworking
CNA's/ caregivers are compassionate, caring, loving, helpful, hardworking, they go out of their way to help the residents and myself, wonderful ladies.

I recently toured the facility with my Elderly Father. We had toured 4 other assisted living places and this was the last one. The staff was really friendly and made us feel at home immediately. They answered all our questions and even had my dad talking (which he never does). We received all the information needed and went on our way home feeling very confident that we had found the place. The next day, my father told us that he wanted that place to be his home.
He felt comfortable with Nathaniel and with Brookdale. That is what is important this time in their lives, to not be afraid and feel ever so comfortable.
Nathaniel Young and Ashley Campbell did an amazing job with helping my father and I through this transition and getting us the best room for what he could afford.

Our mom needed the security of a full-time staff with her plummeting blood pressure. Though she is mentally perfect, her b/p made it impossible for her to live at home alone. Brookdale Kingsport stepped to the plate, bringing her into the community within a week, encouraging her, checking in on her. They even made arrangements for her monthly quilt guild to meet at the facility. Brookdale Kingsport has been wonderful to and for mom. She is thriving, her health improving daily. It was a hard decision to ask her to move from her home, but the folks at Brookdale have made her welcome and loved. She is happy and so are we. - CinS

My grandmother has lived in Brookdale for over a year now. The transition from her condo to Brookdale was much better than any of our family imagined. She is happier than she has been in years. The staff are loving and caring and go out of their way to interact with the residents. I am grateful fro the experience she has had so far at Brookdale.
