The owners were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Being vegan we were provided with non-dairy milk in our room, which also had a small fridge - a great bonus when you are travelling. Our dog was made very welcome and we were told of a nearby walk. The breakfast was amazing and the best we have ever been offered in a B&B / inn etc. We were served tofu, asparagus, avocado, mushroom and tomato - all with home made bread plus all the usual stuff of cereal, fruit and juice. Yes you have to climb lots of steps to your room but you need that to work off some of your breakfast! Would definitely stay again.

Two couples and two dogs - we spent a very comfortable night in the family room. Breakfast next morning was splendid. The party contained a mix of carnivores and vegans. The owners went out of their way to cater for us. Porridge made with soya milk, vegan yoghurt, bowl of fresh fruit, home baked bread were just some of the goodies on offer. For the non-vegans there were pastries too. The next part was the cooked course. The vegans were delighted with a plate of cooked tomato, mushrooms, tofu, toast and asparagus. There was also poached eggs and full Scottish for the others. ||Recommended for vegans, veggies and meat eaters alike who want a friendly and comfortable place to spend time in Moffat.

This was our third visit and David and Cheryl made us so welcome greeting us like friends and Cheryl bought us some ruby roses for our 40th wedding anniversary . Cheryl's breakfasts are absolutely outstanding . They are the perfect hosts . Thank you for a wonderful 2 days break

Perfekt. Super freundlich, sehr sauber, gern wieder. Es gibt eine ,,eigene Etage,, mit Schlafzimmer Bad und Wohnzimmer (TV mit diversen DVDs usw.), Haben Frühstück gratis bekommen obwohl wir keins gebucht hatten. Es gibt eine gratis Auswahl an Tee's, Müsli und Obst.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und sind sogar eine Nacht länger geblieben. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich, besonders bemüht und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer waren sehr liebevoll ausgestattet und es hat uns nichts gefehlt. 😁
