The host was lovely however the rooms are extremely outdated and didn’t feel clean , the unsuites are fitted with carpets , so unhygienic. No TV in one of the rooms we hired , the breakfast was optional and to be honest the quality was below average , was charged £10 for two poached eggs on toast , £ 10 for scrambled eggs on toast and £10 for a full breakfast which was pretty ordinary .. the venue really does need updating

Fabulous stay and slept really well. We
were visting family nearby for.the weekend.so perfect location. Met by Shona who made us feel welcome.

Shona and Bob were very helpful and friendly. Room was clean, en-suite facilities with hot shower. |Breakfast was excellent, I had full breakfast with orange juice and fresh coffee.|Plenty of room to park the car at the rear of the guesthouse. |Shona set the table for dinner as I was getting a takeaway. |Will stay again, bed comfortable, slept well.

Spent few days in Aidrie when in Glasgow for the Commonwealth Games and we had a great time. The place was neat, clean and very family friendly. Sheena is a great cook and we enjoyed her breakfast very much and Bob is very good with children. We have two young kids and they had a wonderful time playing in the play place behind the B&B, playing with the Bunny, harvesting Strawberries, feeding the fish and duck at the fishpond, etc. The place was just perfect for our stay. Bob and Sheen are excellent hosts and we recommends Fairview Bed and Breakfast for everyone, especially families with kids. Thank you Bob and Sheena for your for going the extra mile to make our stay in Scotland a memorable experience.

I stayed here whilst working night shift at Monklands hospital. Shona went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and looked after me very well. Sleeping through the day was easy here with the blackout blind, comfortable bed and cosy room. I even had breakfast ready for my return from work in the morning. Would highly recommend.

Shona is a superb host, very friendly and helpful. The house is clean and tidy and the sign on the road is visible from the distance so easy to find. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to all who want to visit Scotland!

Beautiful, quiet accommodations. Sheena and Bob were lovely and helpful hosts. Good base for seeing Glasgow and Edinburgh. The room was clean, bathroom was en suite, delicious breakfast and plenty of help finding local hiking trails. Would definitely recommend this place to a friend!

Great value, great cooked breakfast, handy location for a party in Airdrie. Very comfortable ensuite accom, very quiet despite roadside location. Very welcoming and accommodating Host Shona. Highly recommended.
