Title:
Gucci's products are hit and miss when it comes to quality, and the resell value... Well lets just say: don't think your buying an investment. The value of Gucci used products is like that of a car.
Do not buy Gucci's shoes, or wallets! They fall apart within a year or two with almost no use and your stuck with a hunk of junk. But the bags are magnifique!

Background:
I have purchased multiple products directly from Gucci's website over the years, and the quality has went WAY down!
I used to be a buyer of LV but the quality on the products was so POOR.
Then I switched to Gucci. Its a mixed bag of quality when it comes to production.

Synopsis:
I own multiple items ALL purchased directly from Gucci's website.
I will provide some of my collection as example of Gucci's downfall. (some shown in photos as well as receipts.) I will not show my whole collection as its just not worth the time for a review.

1. Gucci off the grid sandals - $500 pair of sandals Started to tear and scuff within two uses of the item, after two years no matter what cleaner I use the stains cannot come out! They need repaired and Gucci DOES NOT offer warranty for small items (I.e. wallets, shoes, etc.). So I'm fronting the cost to have it repaired by a third party.
Rating: 1 star as its just plain ugly and just completely ruined by its poor production quality. What a waste....

2. Gucci Neo vintage wallet -
I keep it in the dust bag when not in use, I don't carry a wallet much or cash, so the amount of ripping on the wallet (shown in photos) after barely any use over what 2 years? A walmart $5 wallet lasted me 10 years when I was child. An adult who takes care of his items shouldn't be having this kind of issues for an item that was paid retail $500. As previously stated Gucci DOES NOT OFFER WARRANTY AT ALL ON ANY WALLETS. B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L.
Rating: 3 stars as wallet is still functional just any simple careful use just makes it worse and worse. What's the point of owning a wallet if your afraid to even use it as its so fragile?

3. Neo Vintage small messenger bag -
THE BEST BAG I'VE EVER OWNED. I absolutely adore and love this bag. Its perfect for use, and can be cleaned easily if dirty. Perfect size for my day to day use. I don't care if it rips I will promptly buy another. I cannot find a bag like this to suit my needs like this one.
Rating: 5 stars If you don't own one, BUY IT. By far the best product Gucci has ever produced. Enough said.

4. Ophidia medium backpack -
Great quality backpack I keep in my car for travel. Wonderful space for packing things for long trips. I LOVE this bag almost as much as the messenger bag. Only complaint is it loves to fold in on itself a lot. I cannot keep it flush and standing as shown in photos. So it just looks like a wrinkled up bag even when full.
I recommend skipping this one.
Rating: 4 stars. Great bag for my line of work traveling between stores and offices. But not for everyone. I wouldn't recommend IMO. Skip it.

Ending:
As far as the rest of my products I own I don't recommend and are just normal items. I will say DO. NOT. BUY. JEWERLY FROM THEM. ITS a complete rip off. Your buying a logo. Not a useful or even beautiful item (Coming from a precious metals dealer). The resell value like all other items I mentioned is null. Do not count on reselling as no one wants a used up Gucci item that will just break in a year if even that.

Gucci has become cheaper and I will not buy another product from them unless my messenger bag breaks again. Its sad seeing a company that can make beautiful products just turn to making low quality junk with 1 exception.

I will move my collection to another brand that's better quality.

I recently reported a racist incident that occurred when I went to exchange or return an item at a store. I called the company’s headquarters to report the incident, and the front desk told me it would be escalated to higher management, promising a response within 72 hours. However, I never received any follow-up. During the incident, I noticed discriminatory behavior: when I arrived at the store, I was asked to wait in line, and when my husband later joined me, they also asked him to stay in line. However, I observed that when a Caucasian woman arrived after me, her husband was allowed to bypass the line and enter the store with her. This inconsistency in treatment felt like a clear example of racial bias, and it left me feeling discriminated against as an Asian customer. Very disappointed and will not make any purchases in the future.

I was a big fan of Gucci. Until I had to have wrist watch repair I contacted Gucci group because the wristwatch had a very special meaning. This wrist watch was purchased by my mother. We passed away two months ago. At age 92. When I originally called I had a special requests. I did not want to be replaced the ban just wanted a link replace. Because of the sentimental value. When I originally called they looked up the serial number and said yes we do have the links. And we can fix your wristwatch. After speaking to someone in New York headquarters never met such pompous arrogant individuals in my life. I buy a lot of Gucci products, but will never buy again. Someone in office should talk to Gucci headquarters about customer care procedures. I will be boycotting Gucci.

Loved Gucci from my very first bag but now with a few in and many issues with this last one I would NOT recommend Gucci to anyone! & calling there corporate office is a waist of your time no one calls you back after leaving more then 8 msgs no one has reached out to me! It is horrible how my experience has been with Gucci & the corporate office NOT ONE person has reached out to me, Not one! Horrible company and corporate office!

I purchased my first Gucci Jackie 1961 bag for over $2,500. When I took it home I noticed several tiny orange stains on the back of the bag. I called Gucci and was told I could exchange it at any Gucci store. I went to 5th Ave nyc store to exchange but all their bags had the same stain. Nice store lady told me she would ship me a new bag. When I received the new bag 4 days later it had the same stain! So I took the bag to garden state plaza store where I first purchased the bag to get a refund. I gave them the 2nd stained bag but they said they would refund me once their warehouse received it. So if the bag got lost in transit I would not get my refund? I should have received my refund immediately since they had the bag. Anyway I really loved the bag so I purchased another one without a stain. After 2 days I noticed a piece of string coming loose off the handle of the bag. So I finally gave up. Now I have spent over $5,000 and no bag. I was able to get immediate refund on the third bag but the first refund took 3 weeks by check. Not only are their products low quality but their customer service policy is horrendous! I gave a 2 rating because the store service people tried to help. But they are only as good as the products and customer policies! Very disappointed!

Horrible experience, I purchased a Gucci bag when I brought it home taking it out of the box, I noticed the back of the bag had a grey tinge to it. It’s as if they sold me the store model. When I went to return the bag a week later they accused me of using the bag and refused to return it. Do not purchase from Gucci in Wailea Hawai’i.

I HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE AT THE WHITE PLAINS, NEWYORK LOCATION INSIDE THE MALL.

TRASH CUSTOMER SERVICE! RUDE REPS THEY ALL NEED TO BE FIRED! THEY DIDN'T WANT TO EXCHANGE MY GLASSES, LIED AND SAID THERE WAS NONE AT THE LOCATION, ONLY TO LOOK ONLINE AND THEY DID HAVE IT.

CALLED IN TO SPEAK WITH A MANAGER AND THEY REFUSE TO PUT ONE ON THE PHONE SAYING I REACHED "THE CLIENT SERVICE LINE" THE STORE REP WAS LITERALLY ARGUING WITH ME ON THE PHONE SAYING "I DIDN'T REACH THE STORE" WHEN THE NUMBER FOR THE STORE IS CLEARLY SHOWN ON GOOGLE.
