Arrived late after 10pm host was waiting with keys very friendly and showed me round my own little cottage lol. Ideal place to use as base to explore area. Left early so didn't get to see much as stop over for work. Just disappointed I didn't get to experience the hot tub.

Had a lovely one-night stay here in late July after a very wet cycle across the border from Cumbria that day. Had a warm welcome, safe storage of the bike, and the owners were more than happy to dry my shoes out for me!

Though quite remote, it has a convenient location near to the motorway, but far enough that it is still quite quiet. The owners were happy to provide supper by prior arrangement, and both supper and breakfast the following morning were delicious.

They also have three dogs, two cats and a number of chickens, so a good place for animal lovers!

Warm, friendly welcome. Lovely house and rooms cosy and extremely well equipped. From bathrobes, lotions, clean facilities to delicious home made biscuits and a top notch cooked breakfast in creative surroundings. We had an unexpected but enjoyable visit and would love to return in better weather to appreciate the scenery.

Ecellant value for money, Nice meals and a lovely conservatory to enjoy the setting sun with a glass of wine. Friendly and comfortable. Good open views to the hills. Very convienient for M74. Pleasant single room

Just realised we never did a review of this great B&B when we (4 of us) stayed overnight whilst cycling Lands End to John-0-Groats. We arrived wet and cold and we couldn't have been better looked after, our bikes were put away for us whilst we warmed ourselves with tea and lots of home baked cakes. An evening meal that was perfect and hosts that couldn't have done more.

Cycling tour with a couple of friends so this was a good location to stop. To be honest we were initially disappointed that there wasn't local pub to visit but that soon changed with a lovely home cooked evening meal and honesty bar. Lovely owners, lovely place. Would like an excuse to take the wife there.

Stayed here for one night and the accomodation and food was excellent. The hosts couldnt do enough for us. Also pet friendly and helped with our onward journey. Evening meal was also excellent and retired to rooms to sleep off. ||||Fantastic

We stayed here at Christmas and New Year with the previous owners Graham and Verena Soanes and had a wonderful time. So sad that they have moved on.||However we now hear that the new owners are doing B&B. we wish them well but thought we should let others know that this Guest House has changed hands in case anyone bases there desire to go there on previous recommendations.
