I was honestly shocked to see such a low star rating on this business, as it historically has been a great place to sell and purchase from. I now know why it has such a bad rating…

The employees are miserable to speak with. It’s almost comical how terrible they are to their customers. I’ve not only experienced it myself, but also watched other customers get frustrated, turned off by unfriendly workers and walk out. Staff is not helpful and are misleading in general. Overall a shady weird experience. They didn’t give me all of my receipts for items they took from my bag to resell when I dropped them off.

I also had to go back inside for 2 items that were not placed with the others not taken in and had them on a rack vs with my other items.

Very weird and uncomfortable almost there now and I’ll never go back. I would recommend Vintage by Misty or Poor Little Rich Girl if you’re looking for a similar store, as they offer a better selection, customer/seller and general experience.

Also they charge you $5 to pick up items not sold and I was instructed to “go find them” vs telling me where my items were located in the store. Unreal.

My wife went here today and explained to me how miserable and condescending the staff is here. Get off of your high horse, girls. At the end of the day, you are selling used clothes. She gets treated much better at actual high-end stores.

Brought some items to consign and employees seemed annoyed I was there. The girl made very little eye contact and was condescending. She explained that any items that don’t sell after 60 days are donated. I asked “could I pick it up instead of it being donated?” She rudely replied “the point of consigning is that you don’t want the item anymore” and rolled her eyes. I was dumbfounded that I would not be able to pick up my own item if it didn’t sell. She then said “if it was something super expensive like a Louis Vuitton handbag then you could pay the $5 fee to pick it up but anything under like $50 is donated”. Laughable customer service and unnecessary pretension here.

Shopped here a few times and very uneventful/pleasant.

Today I brought I huge load to consign in store. First I was not greeted at all. No eye contact as the girl is walking to answer phone- she’s on the phone forever and I’m just trying to motion to ask if it’s ok to bring the basket out to sidewalk to fill- she doesn’t respond until I’ve waiting 3-4 minutes and then I say, “hey can I take this outside” she motions yes. I go Get my load of things

8 pairs of mother jeans, 2 pairs of rag and bone jeans, a pair of a golden, lots of j crew, some Tory Burch plus a few things from American eagle, Nordstrom and I did See 2 old navy things and some random offbrand but cute items that was just in my bag from cleaning out.

Come back in and having a hard time pulling the cart inside the door- two workers there that I actually Thought were customers bc so unhelpful… they take all of 7 minutes to “look through” it all… which I highly Doubt bc of the following…. I sit Down to wait after looking around and she says I’m all done. They aren’t taking anything- I say “Oh ok that’s fine” she says “we just are looking for more brand names and in style things… like for the jeans, we’re looking for mothers etc.” I say “There’s lots of mothers in there.” She says “oh, well not like those styles.” ? um ok?! I’m not offended they didn’t take anything im confused. I went Straight to donation center and donated everything that is off brand at all and will list everything else on Poshmark. More work than I was Hoping to do, but don’t waste your time dealing with this location. Very rude to customers and honestly no idea how they choose what they want?

I'm surprised how low the rating for this location was. IMO I definitely would give 5 stars. The staff on shift were very friendly and helpful. The shop & merchandise was beautifully staged throughout the store. The mannequins displayed in the windows were styled with a wow factor. The prices are all on point considering what the original amount would be.I think customers need to do there research before shopping here instead of complaining. Like the saying goes "buyer beware"This location may not be as large as other ones but I believe its to keep that boutique vibe that The Biltmore Fashion is known for.Loving that this is another location to find fabulous fashionable items.Kudos to this business. 10/10

Unfortunately other reviewers are correct 🙁

I have a few designer pieces that met the price point requirement ($75) so I brought them in for evaluation. The staff at the front desk did greet me and smile (which wasn't what other reviewers reported) and sent me to the back for Vanessa to evaluate. I didn't really look at anything along the way but the store did appear to be clean and bright.

I'm not one to judge physical appearance as I have plenty of my own insecurities and definitely take liberties with not doing my hair or makeup on the weekend. However, for an upscale business with such steep and rigid requirements, Vanessa appeared to be in a $9 target bathing suit cover up with bed hair. If someone is evaluating quality but didn't appear quality, there's mixed messages. Maybe her poor appearance was more a direct reflection of her horrendous attitude. While she did answer my questions (though not clearly or consistently) and "evaluate" my items, she said they didn't meet the price point which is untrue as many of the pieces were $100-395. So I asked how the price is verified and she said she just she "looks at the tags". So when I asked what she was looking for on the tags, she said that my brands were older brands. Is it the price or the brand or the age? So I asked for clarification as a few of the pieces are only 6mo-2 years old but she kept deferring to the tags.

I also asked several questions about the timeline policy. It was EXTREMELY unclear but I kept asking until I was able to piece together that: if they accept any items, they will try to sell and if they don't sell within 30 days, they will mark the price down and it is YOUR responsibility to keep track of the dates and make sure you pick up your items for a $5 pickup fee EACH before the 60 day mark. However, when I kept asking, her answers kept changing so don't quote me on this. It is simply the best interpretation I could develop.

Clearly this place is based on the idea of subjectivity and they don't actually have any rules. I wouldn't trust them. I'd rather sell online or donate to women in need.

Staff were courteous, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The store was neat not over crowded with merchandise. Displays were done tastefully. The first time at this location, but will be sure to return. Shoes were seen online and were available as indicated. $200. for the 3 items. I love thrifting!!!
